This multidisciplinary primary school teaching resource enables students to investigate the role and uses of plastic in our world, how plastic consumption and waste affects our environment and how we can reduce, re-use and recycle plastics. The resource consists of 14 lessons which can be modified to suit the students, and which incorporates elements of energy/forces (through the Windmill lesson), design/building (through the Whale Sandcastle lesson), and which links to the ‘data and information’ content descriptor of the Digital Technologies subject (through the Packaging at home lesson).
